Homer was born September 2, 1948 in Crosbyton, Texas to parents Thurman Elmore and Margaret Mary (Porter) Armstrong and entered into rest on June 11th, 2017 at the age of 68. Homer was a hard worker and had been employed at Tolosa Feed Store for 40 plus years. Homer was somewhat of a sports fan. He was a fan of The Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns but he loved watching wrestling on TV. Homer had a unique talent of making sounds with his mouth that mimicked birds, chickens and others. Homer was born September 2, 1948 in Crosbyton, Texas to parents Thurman Elmore and Margaret Mary (Porter) Armstrong and entered into rest on June 11th, 2017 at the age of 68. Homer was a hard worker and had been employed at Tolosa Feed Store for 40 plus years. Homer was somewhat of a sports fan. He was a fan of The Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns but he loved watching wrestling on TV. Homer had a unique talent of making sounds with his mouth that mimicked birds, chickens and others. Homer was a member of Tolosa Baptist Church and helped when he could as an usher. He was a great man who will be missed by all who knew him.



Homer is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers; Joel Russell, Thomas Henry, Herman Elmore, Truman Roy, and Thurman Clifford Armstrong and sister Nina Martinez.



He is survived by sister Alice Pauline Cunningham of Princeton, Texas, brother Troy Lee Armstrong of Plano, brother Edward Jerry Armstrong and Janice of Princeton, brother Charles William Armstrong and Martine of Mesquite, brother Robert Earl Armstrong of Princeton, sister Era May Stanford and William of Irving, brother Billy Melvin Armstrong of Dallas, numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, loved ones and many more friends.
